SongDividr: An interactive experience on the process of creating iconic hit music

SongDividr music app was originally conceived out of discussions with a music festival looking for more “memorable interactive experiences for fans.”  We built a working demo app using publicly available stems and dissected the instrumentation into 4-7 separate tracks. The user is able to turn on and off specific tracks such as vocals, guitar, drums etc. This allows the fan to discover the value of each instruments’ contribution to the overall make-up of the finished song.

SongDividr would be an excellent opportunity for a savvy brand awareness corporate sponsor to demo their products such as headphones, musical equipment, etc, at a live music event.

A consumer branding company could pitch SongDividr to multiple clients. This interactive music app would be an excellent tool to attract and increase foot traffic at tradeshow booth events and museum exhibits. Also, using the app as an inexpensive option would be a welcome addition to entertainment rooms on cruise ships.

The SongDividr app has potential as a simple, inexpensive, non-intimidating education tool for schools that could get kids interested and excited about discovering music. We are interested in discussing partnerships with existing community outreach music programs.
